  4. To install Euro Assistant Pro, simply copy the Euro Assistant Pro 2.2 folder onto your hard disk.

  33. If you decide to move Euro Assistant Pro to a different folder (the Startup Items folder for instance), remember to move the Flags plug-in to the same folder. The Flags plug-in is effective provided that it is stored in the same folder as the Euro Assistant Pro application.

Once you have installed Euro Assistant Pro, double-click its icon to open and configure it: Euro Assistant Pro brings up the Euro Assistant Pro Setup dialog box and asks you to specify the language you want to use (Euro Assistant Pro is multilingual), the currencies you want to convert, their rounding and (in case you selected one or more non-EMU currencies) whether you want to update their euro exchange rates to their latest value before starting to calculate conversions.

  43. Euro Assistant Pro exists in two versions: a multilingual version running in 10 languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Dutch, Danish, Swedish and Finnish) and a Japanese version.

  45. If you are running the multilingual version, then Euro Assistant Pro will ask you to specify the desired language for menus, windows, dialog and alert boxes. Notice that the Greek language is available provided that a Greek Mac OS is installed or a Greek script is active.

  102. Euro Assistant Pro comes with the following predefined currencies:

  105. ΓÇó the 11 currencies of the EMU member countries (Belgian Franc, German Mark, Spanish Peseta, French Franc, Irish Punt, Italian Lira, Luxembourgian Franc, Dutch Guilder, Austrian Schilling, Portuguese Escudo, Finnish Mark);
  106. ΓÇó the 4 currencies of the EU member countries not participating to the Economic and Monetary Union (Danish Krone, Greek Drachma, Pound Sterling, Swedish Krona);
  107. ΓÇó 6 other "important" non-UE currencies (Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, Japanese Yen, Norwegian Krone, US Dollar).

  109. At least two currencies must be selected, but you can also calculate multiple conversions: up to 12 currencies can be simultaneously displayed.

  114. Step 3: Rounding Setup

  116. Currency conversion generally implies the rounding of the result. Euro Assistant Pro will therefore ask you to specify the desired rounding for each currency you're going to display in the Euro Assistant Pro window.

  146. If you are going to use one or more non-EMU currencies (and have Open Transport), then Euro Assistant Pro will ask you whether you want to update their euro exchange rates over the Internet right after closing the Euro Assistant Pro Setup dialog box.
